Announcement: Donations

Assalaam-mu-Alaikum Waraghmatullahi Wabarakatu

We are all aware of the heightened needs of our most vulnerable communities as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the resultant lockdown declared by our State President.

The Executive Committee of the Al-Azhar Masjied has therefore embarked on a feeding scheme to assist poor and needy people in the District 6 and surrounding areas and Milnerton and surrounding areas. We are currently providing up to 400 meals on a daily basis to people desperately in need of it.

In addition, we are also embarking on a project to assist struggling families, who are under severe financial stress, with burial costs of their loved ones.

We humbly appeal to the Ummah for their continued assistance towards these projects. All donations, cash or kind, will be sincerely appreciated.

We make Shukr to our Rabb for giving us the empathy to recognise the needs of our communities during these trying times.

SHUKRAN!
